Open Gym Frequently Asked Questions

When is Open Gym & how does it work?

Open gym, sometimes called "open play", is available during OPEN GYM HOURS, for ages 5 and up. The Ninja Arena, Parkourner, Ninja Forest, Air Bag, Exercise Room (age 13+), and Climbing Walls are all open for ages 5+ to explore. There is a host on the floor, but no structured lessons. Children age 8+ may be dropped off; an adult must supervise on the floor children age 5-7.

Do I have to be a member to attend Open Gym?

No you don’t need to be a member.  You can purchase a day pass or a punchcard here.

What Should I Wear?

Whatever is comfortable to work out in is fine, but you MUST wear closed toed sneakers & we highly reccomend watching the video above! (No sandals, flip flops, slides, Uggs or cleats allowed)

How much does Open Gym cost?

Drop-in rates are $25 for a day pass or $50 for a 30-minute Private Orientation and Mini-lesson PLUS day pass - both can be purchased here.

It's my first visit to the facility - can I attend Open Gym?

Yes, if you are age 5+. However, you may want to book an Open Gym Private Orientation & Mini-Lesson for those who are inexperienced or unfamiliar with Ninja obstacles. After a lesson, your visit will be more fun and you will be less likely to get hurt.

For those looking for a structured program vs. open play, we highly recommend our Youth Ninja Training programs or a facility membership.

For children age 4, please look into our Youth Ninja Training Program, which provides the structure, skill-development and supervision necessary for this younger population.

Do I need to make an appointment for Open Gym?

We don't require advance sign-up, but it is recommended, as we occasionally close for special events & space rentals

Am I (is my child) ready for Ninja?

Ninja Obstacles may look "hard", but our arena floor has obstacles for every age and ability level. Participants ages 4-95 have enjoyed our arena, and we've even worked with ninjas missing limbs & ninjas with down syndrome/autism.

Everyone leaves with a smile, so don't let fear stop you. If needed, you can always schedule a Private Open Gym Session and Mini Lesson, to gain confidence and know you can do this!

Do I need to complete the waiver online?

Everyone must complete a waiver before entering the arena.
